The ski season is underway! One of our favorite places last season was Snowbird, in beautiful Utah. I was lucky enough to go to the Ski Utah event in NYC a few weeks back where I met Paul Marshall, Director of Communications at Ski Utah. After that, we set up an interview with him and was able to get some more information about what Ski Utah does and what they have going on for the upcoming season. Hope you enjoy it!

Jackson Hole Wins X-Games Real Mountain Contest
After two weeks, the results are in from the X-Games Real Mountain contest, and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort was voted “best inbounds big-mountain terrain.” The contest was based on fan votes around videos shot exclusively inbounds at seven of North America’s best ski destinations. The steeps, legendary snow of the Tetons, and the antics of athletes like Griffin Post, Hadley Hammer, and Travis Rice beat out the rest in a stacked field of competition. Here’s to the new season!
- Jackson Hole Mountain Resort – 29%
- Snowbird – 19%
- Mammoth Mountain Ski Area – 15%
- Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows – 13%
- Whistler Blackcomb – 9%
- Aspen Snowmass – 7%
- Revelstoke Mountain Resort – 7%
